I approach therapeutic work as an equal, a member of the neurodivergent community and a work in progress myself. I have ADHD and autistic traits myself, and I tend to connect with people who have also felt outside the mainstream. I've found a real sense of belonging in what Steve Silberman, in NeuroTribes, called “a convivial society of loners.”

Outside of clinical work, I've spent years as a music producer, audio engineer, and studio geek. Much of what I learned there applies to therapy: experiment, play, distinguish signal from noise, find the essential thing, and cut away whatever doesn't serve.

I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and have spent close to half my adult life in Latin America or Europe. I live in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with my family most of the year and have a home base in the Pacific Northwest. I speak fluent Spanish and work with clients in both languages. I often feel the most joy and aliveness in the small, ordinary moments with my son as he grows up.
